The Story

My name is Jake and over the last several years I have been on a mission to find out how to make the best cup of coffee possible at home. This search led me to all different types of brewing methods but eventually, to home roasting. I started with air poppers but quickly realized that they didn't offer the control I wanted over my coffee roasting. I did much research and it led me to the Aillio Bullet. This is a fully electric, small batch, drum roaster that allows complete control over how coffee is roasted. This has allowed me to roast what I believe to be some amazing batches of coffee. It has been such a rewarding experience being able to purchase coffee beans from all around the world and roast it myself. Even better, has been sharing it with others!

What makes YBR different?

When you buy coffee off of the shelf at the store, you could be buying coffee that has moved well past its optimal drinking age. Often times, the expiration date is a year past when it was roasted. Yes, this does affect the taste of your coffee! When you buy Yellow Brick Roast coffee you will be getting coffee that has been freshly roasted, ensuring the best cup possible.

All of our coffee is carefully selected before we make it available to you. We sample a lot of coffee before we decide which ones we think you will enjoy the most!
